Let’s face it, getting a new forum off the ground is tough work and it really is the members who can make or break a website like this. As a bit of an incentive I am going to offer a $25 gift certificate (to the island fishing store of your choice) for the first 5 members that reach 100 posts.

If this is a success we will be offering on-going incentives for members to post and share. We will even have a full days charter up for grabs in the near future, so stay tuned

Any rules as to the "usefulness" of your posts, or will we see two word posts after every topic started - such as "Me too" or "I agree"....... :lol:

well I leave it to the members to keep quality in mind, so far its a great bunch of people so I don't see it as an issue.

Right now I have it in place for the fist 5 people to reach 100 as a trial. If it is a success then it may be an ongoing promotion, if its all "me too" style posts then we'll leave it at 5.
