Hey Lance,

Good luck tomorrow. Let us know how you make out. We will be out there Thursday.

We typically fished them around 30 ft last year. Less than 2 mph. 18 - 28 inch leader. Sometimes changing the leader length by a few inches makes a difference.

BT

We got skunked! No bites this morning.. About 20 boats out this morning, we didn't see one fish played... I'm going to wait another week till I head out again.

Thanks for the update, not what I was hoping to hear.

Did you fish infront of China Creek? Surprised to hear only 20 boats.

There was probably more around the corner, but I only saw about 20. The girl at the boat ramp said there wasn't any fish brought in before me. I parked the boat around 9am. So, maybe another week and it'll get better. I fished cous because that's where they were showing on the sounder.

Thanks for the other details. We are going to try Hocking to Hook. Maybe even a little further out as we are starting at Poett Nook. I will try to post some updates from the Nook.

Not one fish caught today, very slow. Stayed the night at hook bay. woke up to about 20 boats already fishing nahmint. Fished from 6:30 till 12. The girl at China creek said she didnt see one fish this morning. On the way past Mactush doug dropped one rod to 120, we had a hit and a long run, never saw it, but much stronger than any sockeye. Maybe a winter or something. Fished all depths, dummy flashers, mp15s, bare black hooks etc. Some guys from Nanaimo said they saw some jumping, i didnt see any though.... will try Sunday if work lets me.
