People like eating fish. As long as their catch is legal I don't question it. If the poster wants to start an ethics debate about a legal fishery there are other places on the forum to do so .

I did go on a trip this year off of Tofino and our boat landed 5 of them with 3 guys on board. I only played one fish myself.

If I add up the fuel to drive there, meals, my share of fuel and ice on the boat, the cost of processing the fish, and the cost of the beers after celebrating a great day on the water with good friends = pretty expensive tuna. Would I do it all over again.............in a heart beat!

The fishery is so accessible, easy, and inexpensive to us sporties I think those albacore should be nervous (sarcastic).

Dont you have to go a couple hundred km's off shore to find Albacore tuna? where the heck did these fish get caught? couldn't imagine the gas bill for this trip!, i thought Albacore tuna followed the leading edge of the warm water way out in the pacific, either way them are some tastey Tuna!
