Best Fishing Store in YOUR Town

Cheers All,

Compiling a list of the 'Best' fishing stores in the major centres on Vancouver Island. If you had to pick the "BEST" Salt Water Fishing Store in YOUR town, where would it be?

Interested in: Port Hardy, Port McNeil, Campbell River, Courtenay/Comox, Qualicum Beach, French Creek, Parksville, Tofino, Ucluelet, Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Duncan, Mill Bay, Sidney, Victoria and Sooke.

Your choice to mention why is pesonal - therefore not required - but, if you are comfortable doing such, I would also be interested why this particuliar store stands out.

Tyee Marine in Campbell River, but Ted just retired, huge loss there...BB

Although I shop at all three in Nanimo I prefer The Harbor Chandler . The staff is the most helpful and knowledgeable IMO. For hootchies I prefer Pacific Net and Twine in Parksville because of their selection and the fact that I can order online.

No question - Trotac marine in Victoria. The guys are ALWAYS willing to help and they have the best selection and prices in town.

In Parksville/ French Creek areas, both French Creek Store and Pacific Net and Twine
French Creek Store has a fairly good selection, and they are nice folks, besides being located right at the marina.
Pacific Net and Twine Have a great selection, but are more diracted towards commercial operators.

Ideal Tackle in CR. Best deals on the island for most things and he has excellent deals on used gear that he gets from people. He also likes CASH as in no hst.
