My brother and i went up to Jordan river to get past the slot size and it was well worth the run.Had gear down for about twenty minutes and tied into a big one.He hit hard and immediately started on a long run.I new this fish had some size for the drag on my level wind is set fairly snug and he was pulling line off hard.Rod was bent in a hard arc like you know when something powerfull is on the other end.I thought to myself, hope that hook is set in well. This fish ran hard about three different times, alot of head shake and the usual antics at the surface.Got him to the boat and new when i saw his big tail fin,he,s not done yet.As soon as he saw my brother with the net he was off on his final deep run, probably went down about 50 feet before i got him turned.Got him back up and he was tired, but so was i.You can lead them like puppy dogs when they are tuckered out. A perfect dip of the new Scotty C&R net and he was in the boat,i had to help get him over the side,a slab.32 lbs of Spring salmon perfection, one of gods gifts.Thanx SS out.................
