Would these be to stick in the fish farms or something?

If smaller wild fish can swim right through the middle of a pen then I guess that further explains how lice populations on farmed fish can impact wild salmon.
Brutal...just one more sign that the aquaculture industry needs to evelve to land based closed systems.

Doesn't the european countries that raise farmed salmon have all their aquaculture on land to protect wild salmon stocks?

It sounds like they ensure there are no fish farms anywhere near specific wild salmon runs that they have to preserve.
