Taking on the task of changing impeller, but with all the nuts and bolts off, my leg wont slip out all the way. I did take the bolt off under the trim tab, so its nothing i have overlooked, its dropped only a hair, any ideas, I dont want to apply blunt force? Looking for ideas. Also, its a 2004 150 merc. No shift shaft to disengage.

I was able to drop it, just used some aluminum shims and wiggled them in, then it dropped out. The rest was no problem. Changed the leg oil while at it too. Now I just need to find a E z steer.
