A few months will definitely result in a fair amount of fouling. The disadvantage of anti-fouling paint is down the road, when you want to go back to a "clean" bottom. Removing the anti-fouling can be a bear, and leaving it on means regular renewing of the paint. Have you thought of just parking out of the way at a yard or friend's place if you are not going to be using it a lot? Alternatively, you could pull it out every week or so and power wash the bottom, which might be easier in the long run.

I LEAVE MY BOAT IN RENNY AL SUMMER AND PULL OUT 2 TIMES AND SPRAY BLEACH ON THE BOTTOM LET SIT 5 MIN. AND PUT BACK IN . KILLS THE GROWTH MAYBE A LITTLE STAIN AT WATER LINE BUT IT POLISHES OFF IN THE FALL.
