Heading to Brown Bay @ 0525 Saturday AM. Going to try Deepwater first. Any one been targeting doggies? Salty Beaver, you going to show up ?

You know it's a bad year for chum when they are closing down the sumas/chilliwack/vedder river to chum retention.

There was a flood or something on this years return that wiped out a large portion of the eggs after the majority of the run spawned out, on top of that the in river roe fishery is taking it's toll on these fish.

We will still be out there more than likely but fishing reports are pretty dismal right now, thought someone said they caught a 24 pound chum the other day, that's a big dog.

Went 6 for 7 saturday with a triple header. Customized googly eyes were producers.

Nothing sunday as deepwater was completely dead, nice day still though

I'll be up there for my first time this weekend. I'm hoping its going to be a lot of fun. I've never fished up there before. Anyone got a tip or too. Anything that I need to be careful of.
I'm taking my dad and want everything to go as smooth as possible.
