Here's the result from the first of many doubles and triples on saturday.
The weather sucked so but the fishing was unreal.
Plumper Bay, 40' on pink squirts.

forgot, to mention, the googley eyes, a friend was in tackle shop Victoria,on fri, and a fellow grabbed all the googles and said he was going to Browns. My friend was able to wrestle one away from him, and it worked great till we lost it today. Got 3 nice ones lost 4, sounds like we did better than seine fleet. 3 seiners went right into deepwater, after fisheires went home, so much for boundarys huh...

Thanks again Rob and Pop for a great weekend. The close quarter fishing was quite a hoot, specially with a couple of fish on. Lots of action, lots of laughs and thanks for waiting after I missed the turnoff.

Awesome weekend for us as well.

We limited Saturday and had much fun playing doubles and triples. 50, 60, 70 feet and one at 14 feet! We fished right out in the middle north of deepwater. We had trouble putting them in the boat with a 50% success rate. But who cares when there are that many fish!

We also landed and succesfully released 5 nice wild coho all caught within an hour around 1pm...6 - 8 pounds.

Sunday was slower, landed 3 and lost about 8.

Perfect way to end the season.

Seadog

Not to take this thread off topic but maybe next time you can take a picture and document boat names and commercial numbers of the seiners if they are in a closed area fishing
DFO would surely would be able to prosecute with some proof
