I was there yesterday and we got a bunch of shakers and a couple chum at plumper, went further north and we saw a bunch of jumpers but got nothin. Nice day for fishing tho, calm and dry.

We were also rewarded with seeing a pod of killer whales go right by us, and a larger school(?) of porpoises.

We got to see a lone troller go into the no fish area in deepwater bay, not sure how I feel about that...

I was going to meet Salty Beaver at Tim Hortons but we got there early so we got our coffee and headed to the boat launch.Called a few times on the cell then the radio a few channels 68 and 69 went fishing. We did good and had our limit by noon and weighed in and headed home.Next year hopefully I'll camp with you boys and fish the hole derby. Thanx for all the help this year Big Chrome. TTYL.
