does anyone know of a less expensive charter for coho? some friends have parents coming to town and want them to go fishing for the first time. They don't want to low ball but they don't have a ton of money to spend.

you won't really find that unless you get a "discount" operator off craigslist or something - but you generally get what you pay for.

The thing is the cost to the operator is just as much whether he's fishing for coho, springs, pinks etc. - Maybe $20 more if he's fishing anchovy for springs. The thing to do when there are this many fish to catch is round up 4-5 guys and split a 5 hour charter(most are about $100/hour)
