Yes there are catfish around in the lower island. I've caught a couple bigger ones. I threw them back because I don't know how to cook them. A friend told me "Never leave the skin on... gah even the dog wouldn't touch it." So I'm guessing skinless fillet is the way to start?

I havent had catfish before but this looks like a decent way to give yourself a heart attack
