So I just recently started to fish Cowichan lake, CAN YOU SAY SLABS :D

How many of you fish out there, what is your best method?
What is your favorite plug to run?

I have used my blades for cutties and have produced some around five pounds.
Plugs have also worked to nail some huge fish. All my fish have been caught with my gear around 20ft and in close. All fish have been Cutties. I guess the bows and the browns dont like me. How should a guy rig up to nail some of these monster browns and Bows everyone talks about :?

I am heading down this weekend to try some new rigging,

how's the fishing at the lake splitshot? Can anybody say when prime time is for the cowichan, I assume summer it things slow down a lot?
