yup did the drift today, that log jam isn't as scary as I thought. There is a very easy spot that you can drag your boat through, no big deal at all - thanks to whoever cut it!!

Pretty slow for us, hooked 4 but nothing to the boat. A guy drifting by himself in a jean jacket was lighting it up though, I think he hooked 7 or so.

Water was a good height and pretty good, maybe a little cloudy.

Did something a little different then the norm and I loaded up the fly gear and headed for the upper end of the river to look for trout.

No luck on the trout but I did have a good sized steely grab my stonefly - but I was under gunned and that fish wasn't meant to be.

I also saw a few real big tomatos doing their thing, good to see at least a few pairs of fish reproducing.
