Cheers,

Thanks for the notice. I have camera on board and not too much patience these days for thieves!

There is also a red Lund that poaches in the Comox Valley with a Yamaha tiller drive on it. As well as a black one around Baynes Sound to Hornby.

Any one been out this week?
Anyone in the Comox Valley?
How are the berried prawns?
Well I was out and it sucked. Berried prawn and a commercial prawner.
I don't understand why they can be out there setting all them traps.

All around Flora was hit by the commercial guys today.

Cheers All,

I am a bit confused too. I am curious what commercials are doing out on the water now. They had their season and I was under the impression they were not on the water until May. Certainly not happy about that at all!

Prawning around Flora today again sucked. I got check by DFO today. I got a warning, as my guest was using my floats. I am only aloud to mark 4 traps with my name and 4 have to be marked with the guests name. The nice fellow lent me a marker. I am thankfull that he was kind enough to understand and let me fix the small problem.

Going out again tomorrow for one last day of prawning...On to fishing.

Cheers,

I heard about this red lund boat. Would be nice to catch them in the act.

Another heads up to everyone. We talked to a guy by the flattops this afternoon who had 2 sets prawn gear stolen today  . I can't believe the gall of some people. We went for a cruise for about an hour but were in the area the whole time. There were 3 other boats fishing in the immediate area. We didn't see anything funny going on. I rarely ever leave my gear out of site because of an incident that happened to me a couple of years ago at the fingers.
