We did the big transfer today from West Coast to East Coast in regards to the boat. We left Salmon Beach around 8:30 this am and headed home for lunch and a quick rest to throwing in the crab traps and launching at Brechin this afternoon for some fun.

We waded through literally a hundred female and undersized crab's to get 5 legal's that we wanted for dinner.

The highlight was a dolphin show we experienced in Northumberland Channel.

Coming at us full force..........

Was a very cool day as we wasted no time in our transition from West to East and were blessed with huge bait balls on the sounder and these folks putting up a show for us. Gotta love Vancouver Island. Don't ever take it for granted ;)

I know the feeling. Check this video my wife shot. They wouldn't leave us alone but I was very careful. Just south of Hornby Island 2009

doug tell your wife she shoots great video, clean and steady. As far as playing video, there is a plugin I can install, I'll look into and see if we can post video directly to the posts.

I see those porpoise/dolphins so much out by Victoria but it always amazes me how fast they can swim, crazy.
