Fathers Day Weekend the Courtenay Fish and Game is hosting free trout fishing at the club's stocked pond at the end of Comox lake.

Its for EVERONE-- young and old. If you dont have any gear-- no problem as we have loaners.

9-4 Sat and Sunday, just drive up Lake Tral Road until you get to the CoLake logging road-- turn left and follow the signs.
Thrifty Foods will be giving away free hotdogs and pop, so no need to bring lunch.

Club members will clean and ice your catch for you too. Such a deal!!

Well today was a great success, with a bunch of folks taking home a trout dinner. Still time to get in on the festivities-- we go again tomorrow (Sun) from 9-4.
