Has anyone been catching?? If so where?? heading over in the morning with a boat full and hoping not to disappoint!!!

Sorry should have said Vancouver sockeye!!

Acquitted, I went for an overnighter 5 days ago from Nanaimo with my son and buddy. We caught our 12 in the evening and were done with our 12 within an hour in the am. We even picked up a 20# spring on a plug in the am.

My buddy and his brother in law went over yesterday afternoon to repeat what we did, but it didn't happen. They fished until dark last night and got nada. Then they were up before dark and had the lines in by 0545, which early has been on fire in days past. Well here is where the bad news comes in, they fished for 6 hours for sockeye and got not one. He managed 2 small springs but NO SOCKS.

We are going to head to Browns Bay in the afternoon and spend the night. The wind is also blowing hard tonight until late afternoon tomorrow so that's why I cancelled my trip tonight until tomorrow for sockeye in Vancouver.

Good luck, I know things can change over a couple of days. They just let the nets in and buy the sounds of it they loaded up. In the paper today, one boat they talked to had 20K in one set.
