Go on a Fishing Charter at least once. It’s good to see what the guys who make a living at fishing do! Even the smallest things can make a difference like rigging an anchovy and teaser head just a bit different.
For me, I had never been Halibut fishing until last year and went on a charter. Had a great time, didn’t have to deal with anything, just sat back and watched until it was time to reel!
Now I’m not a Hali expert by any means, but I know where to start and what to do when I want to go with my boat.
And it also gives you a new contact for fishing updates, which is always a good thing to have.

I will add that I have taken my Hand-held GPS along whenever I go with anyone else guide or not. My Sport Track is a Gold Mine of way points!
