Small end forward, large at the rear. However, some of my fishing buddies, who shall remain unknown, have fished them the other way around.

Unless of course, he needs glasses to read, I didn't even know there was writing on the new ones!
I'll get the mag-glass out and check it out!
As far as backwards, I had picked up a few flashers at a garage sale this spring while out there to do my SVOP, one break me and a couple of the other guys were looking over what I had bought, the one guy, who was going up to guide at one of the better known lodges in the Q.C.s, asked in an around about way, which way the flasher was supposed to go!

About 5 years ago there was a "fad" to run Hotspot flashers backwards for Sockeye at slow speeds.

Done this way it gives the hoochy more "whip" action.

However it was not muchof an improvement over running them normal for Sox
as far as I was concerned.

Little end, Big end. Which comes first?

Just think of it this way,,,

Little head, Big head. Which one do we most often think with first? :D

You will get it right every time, and if you get it wrong,,,, you wont get much action
