I am in a derby at French creek this weekend and have never fished that area before. Would anyone be willing to share some good fishing areas within a 5 miles up or down the strait from the French creek marina?

Thank you very much for the tip springking. I came in first place with a 29 lb 6 oz spring and my wife got third place with a 25 lb 11 oz spring. Both caught in front of little Qualicum river.
