Work has been, and still is underway on revisions to the French Creek Marina, and part of the project is to extend the actual marina.
This work intails installing a new outer breakwater, running parallel to the shore.
Several piles have been driven to outline the new breakwater, with new marina entrance markers installed on two of these piles. The breakwater construction seems to be on hold for some reason, and at high tide, most of the new breakwater is just covered.
Anyone who is used to entering the marina from other than straight in, should pay close attention to this construction, and enter only between the new markers, to avoid the obvious problems.

All that work is nice but, I would like to see them install a wash down area. Barring that how about a spigot so you can bring your own hose. Especially for the rate they charge.

Great idea, I see they have eliminated a cleaning station by the boat launch with the new ramp and dock. Maybe stop by the office and talk with the Harbour Master and see if the budget , our tax dollars allows for such an expense.
