Please learn to spell - go back to school .
18% of 15,000 is 2700 fish - surely you can catch some of those - and count the dozen they took out for studies as "ones that got away"

Ah, but can you count it without using your digits? Obviously, there is a disconnect between counting cash and counting fish. A dozen taken out for studies doesn't compute as a percentage (at least, not one that has any impact)!
So I say - go forth young man, chin up, count the dozen as "the really big son-mo-bitches" that got away, tell the stories of the ones that got away and fry up the rest. Fishing is not about sweating for the numbers but rather, the enjoyment of the day outdoors. Fish in the creel are a bonus. To top it off - it's time away from the home front - what could be better?

Been fishing Horne for many years from shorelines. Even tried with a canoe once or twice (before the afternoon winds came up). If they only took out 100 fish for THEIR study, and can come up with factual data to aid in restocking - I have no problem with that. Can't get much data from 20 fish (four hands worth for those that are digitally challenged) as THERE may be too many anomalies in such a small sampling.
Yes, there do not appear to be many fish in Horne Lake as catching them is difficult and sporadic. But I would attribute that to the fact there seems to be an over-abundance of feed - which means they really don't want the fake stuff we throw at them.
