My wife's relatives from England are visiting in July and we've promised them a day cruise and dinner. I've eaten at the Dinghy Dock and Silva Bay...but are there any gems out there that you'd recommend?

Not really Gulf Islands, but Princess Mary at 459 Head Street in esquimalt victoria has great fish and chips. Kind of expensive, but they do halibut and salmon. They have other good food too, but I always end up with the halibut burger deep fried or straight fish and chips.
