Im down at schooner just bought a new lowerance HDS10 please I need some help to my GPS going again, I was playing a little got the sonar going but can,t seem to get GPS going again just a picture of van island please help for thurs fishing day or better yet I,ll meet you their and Ill buy you a beer or two, Thanks Guys my Name is Reggie Ihave a 2452 Bayliner down their, Thanks again not good at this stuff just a Rookie

It sounds like you need to go to Map Data, then pick what area you are in. From the factory the location is set where it was made.

Hi Reggie
I am the guy that owned your 2452 before you :) I have the HDS10 as well and can probably help you. Do you have the Navionics software? I moved "Papas Dream" from Beachcomber to Ladysmith, but noticed your boat has not been at its mooring. I gather from your post you moved to Schooner?

Hi Al nice to hear from you cant seem to get past the van island picture if you have time maybe you could call me tomorrow on my cel and walk me tru it . 250-240-7391, I had Gps of schooner but I pushed restore defaults all I got was van Isld, thanks Al, Best Regards Reggie .yes I do have navionics platinum

I've got an HDS-8 with Platinum Plus card so it should have the same settings as your unit. If you haven't sorted out your problem, make sure your Navionics chart is selected by going to the following menu:

Menu button / Settings / Chart / Chart Data

Once you get to this menu, you should have a choice of "Lowrance" or the "Navionics" chart that you have inserted. Of course, select the Navionics one. Note that the right slot is the faster one.
