Hey Guys,

We are working on the upcoming winter edition of Island Angler Magazine and we are interested in receiving photo submissions.

We would love to see all photos from trophy shots to wildlife shots and everything in between.

Obviously we cannot post all photos in the next issue but all submissions will be filed and possibly used for future publications.

Thanks in Advance!

I'll toss a few up to get things rolling but I'm sure some of the members here have some much better shots.

Everytime I try to upload some pics, the website says: your photos exceeds the limit of 100kb's.

How can you post pics when you are limited to 100kb?

Island magazine, PM me your email addy and I will send you a couple of good ones from this summer.

I had the same problem aswell and a friend told me to use Photo Bucket it gets your photos on the web then from there you can take them onto the site by copying then paste into your message make sure your photos start with IMG and end with IMG when you copy them... :)

Are those tyees? I have recently heard you claiming to have caught 12 tyees out of Nanaimo this season. To say 12 tyees in this area is pretty unreal incredible. I fished the early run on the Highway past the fingers and caught several Springs all ranging from about 16lbs to 28lbs but no scaled tyees not one and Ukee this year caught a million and two springs and 4 weighed in tyees. I'd like to see some pictures of tyees for this thread. Mine above is 33lbs... See you out there Fishing Guide

I saw a pretty good number of tyees in the month i fished Qualicum-Nanaimo. While we only hit 3 scaled tyees between 31-40lbs we had lots between 25-30.

Which ones the 40lb fish? Never seen a 40 that a small kid can put his hand around the wrist. Maybe the pics not showing up?
