I'm familiar with the ramp there, but have some concerns about leaving my vehicle & trailer there when I camp down the inlet for several days. Anyone had any problems leaving stuff in the compound? What are the charges? Any other things I should be aware of? I have been launching from Moutcha Bay. Appreciate any feedback.

You can leave your vehicle in the locked compound. Your other option is to drive in at Cougar Creek. The road isn't bad and you're only a 5 minute boat ride to all the lodges. At Cougar Creek, I paid 20 dollars for launching and 3 days parking. It was sure more at the Gold River ramp.
Hope this helps.

Cheers All,
I would echo what Dodi has suggested. Do not leave your vehicle or trailer in Gold River without either placing it in the locked compound (run by the Native Band) or at another secure spot. Many fishermen return only to find their vehicle/or trailer vandalized. Puts the damper on what is otherwise a very enjoyable trip.
Of course you have the option of driving to Cougar Creek and launching there. The road isn't too bad other than for a couple of hills and, when the road has been freshly graded, it is actually pretty good.
