I was going to take the rellies from back east out on the boat for a day . Run 2 lines..am I legal with 2 lic.? I understand we would only have 2 peoples possession limits. Normally everyone on my the boat has a lic. but this is different.

You can have what ever number of passengers onboard you are safe and legal to, however by the regs, only those who possess a license can operate any fishing gear.

That is what i thought.. very different that a boat in fresh water...Where if you are by yourself you can have 2 rods BUT if there are 2 of you on board and only 1 lic. you can only have one rod out.

as far as I know there are no limits to the number of rods you can have out per license. I've been checked solo with 4 lines out and no issues, as long as you stay within possession limits I don't think there are any legal issues.
