We fished the Little and Big Q on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Not a touch. Lots of fish on sounder both places and lots of jumpers at Little Q but never saw a fish caught. Heard of a few.

We were in a small derby and out of approximately 20 boats there was a total of 5 springs caught and 3 coho. Biggest spring was 23+ and coho was 14+. All of these were caught over the humps in front of French Creek. Most people were trolling but there were a few jerk fishermen around the rivers and they struck out as well. There was a sighting of a 40+ at the launch, but not from our group and I didn't personally see it.

The Queen and I got 2 coho, one on a cop car @ 95ft, one on a anchovy @65 as well as a 10lb pink spring @35ft on an anchovy. Had couple more hits on the shallow line. All at the Humps. Also caught a few grey cod, shakers and one doggie. Weather Saturday afternoon was just too rough out front although some ran to the Qs and fought their ways back with nothing to show for it. Sunday started out tough with lots of boats sitting on shore, but we braved it and were rewarded with our spring and a coho with the weather dying down a bit towards 9:00.

Tried the Little Q last evening, and also in front of French Creek, without a touch anywhere. Nice afternoon and evening for a boat ride though.

Hey Kelly, I`ve been dragging bottom on the humps with one rod for several trips lately, and nothing. I`ve even tried the killer green and white to no avail.

Kelly,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I had the same results as Lure-washer. I drug a green spatter back, green/white coyote, anchovie in a couple different heads, white, clear/pink stacked hootchie, nada. Top lines caught them all.

But, thats fishing. Sure wish I could have been out the last couple days!! Wow, talk about being "flat as **** on a plate".

was out tonight at Little Q from 5pm tide change till dark. Approximately 15 boats fishing the area; To my knowledge only 1 fish was caught on the river north side in shallow water < 50' at 25' on an army truck hootchie about six-ish. Tons of jumpers 90 % of which were close to shore in 20' of water or less. Talked to several boats comming in from out front of FC and no fish were seen caught in the afternoon or evening bite :( .
