Fished Fuller Lake Friday, April 2nd. Caught a bunch of small trout. Watched a 3-4 pound trout caught on an olive leetch pattern 8-10 down at the centre of the lake.
Fished Quesnel Lake two days later and didn't get a sniff.
Cheers!

Got out to Westwood a week or so ago. It was pissing down rain but still managed to get 4 or 5 on a gangtroll and worm my other buddy got around 7 on a huskey jerk. I've been to Green Lake a few times since then its been really hit and miss but mostly slow. And I went to Brennen Lake last night got one bite in 2 hours of fishing using a flatfish, hopfully some more sun gets the fish active.

Hit Fuller today with some freinds. Got the biggest fish Ive ever pulled out of a lake on the island, it weighed 5 1/2 lbs and must have been one of the broodstock that weve been talking about. Ive caught them around that size in there before but they werent clean like this fish. I'll be posting pics tommorrow night.

Fished Great Central on Saturday. Dead Slow! The cutts have finished their spawn already, are on the mend, but not biting too well.
Hit the Sproat yesterday. 25 to hand in 2.5 hours. Rather good fishing alright. No "Biggies" they averaged just a little better than 2 pounds, but were downright feisty for that size. Hit pretty well anything we threw at them. Likely headed back there again this afternoon.
Cheers, Nog

Heading out to Quennell Lake first thing tomorrow morning. We will try for trout and might pick up the odd bass already.
Will keep everyone posted.

Sorry the the lateness in my report.
Was at Quenell Lake for early Sunday morning.
Still fairly slow yet. We picked up the odd bass but mostly sunfish. Couldn't find anything for trout either.
anything specific to use for trout in that lake?
We have never had much success for them.
Thanks,
Leischvost
