Anyone see any pinks in the harbour yet? I see there is a kayak pink fishing derby next weekend, I think it's a fundraiser for the hatchery.

I went down to the mouth of the Millstone and stood on the bridge and watched a seal chase a small school of about 500 around. It looks like they are finally showing up now. There is a kayak derby on Satuday with proceeds going to the hatchery. http://www.albernioutpost.com/promotion ... poster.pdfThe derby is open to "human powered boats". Has anybody been hooking them while trolling by the fingers etc.?

Anyone catching any pinks in front of the millstone or in departure bay? My son went down to the millstone early Monday morning and couldn't see any and only one other guy was fishing. Surprising for this time of year.

The beach next to the departure bay ferry is loaded with pinks! Took the fly rod down for a bit yesterday and landed a couple on small pink flies. Get out there and get them. Thats what they are there for

Anyone know if there are any pinks left? we got a few for the smoker last time but, the kids are hoping to get a few more. Thanks.

there were guys hooking (err...snagging) them next to the yacht club and at the millstone yesterday afternoon.
