Picked up one keeper off the Grande yesterday (Mon). 155' down using a 4" Knight Rider coyote spoon. Heard of several others taken from the south side of Thrasher.

Should not we be 2012? Last 2 days on the water: 3 mile to 5 mile nada. Fingers to Neck 1 rocker, 1 undersize. All types spoons, hootchies and depths probed. Tons of birds and we ran into a few bait balls like this...

With that much bait around I would think a good choice would be to use REAL bait in maybe a Bloody Nose teaser head or a Purple Haze teaser head.
Just my two cents......Cheers.....

Your wish is my command Cheech. I've changed it to 2012 but you can still go back and get the info from last year.

Anybody been out lately? I stopped by Harbour Chandler today and grabbed some of the new spoons Dane brought in and cant wait to try them out. Looks like they are even more stocked up than last year.

Going across on the 8:30 boat. Flat calm, lotsa birds and a bunch of sealions just west of Snake Isle. They all seemed to be in a feeding mode.
