Cheers All,

I have been both inside (Departure Bay/Green Can/Brickyard) - caught 3 keepers as well as Thrasher Rock - 37 lbs salmon. Last night went to Thrasher for ling cod...two of us caught one each. So...over the last week been both places and caught fish at both. Hope this helps.

Cheers All,

While I did have almost 20 tyee this year most of them came off Ucluelet. Nanaimo accounted for 7 (3 in one very memorable day) while Ucluelet claimed 11. The largest this year was 44 lbs. However...I fished a LOT!

All in all I can state - with no uncertainty - that this was my best year - period! OH...and I am looking forward to an even greater year next year. :D

Fished neck point today....8 to the boat and released. Awesome day as they were all legal and released at the waterline...only one was snatched while being released by the nasty seal that hangs out at fingers. dropped 2 prawn traps twice and took home 90 large prawns, then raised our crab traps and had 6 keepers and 6 females released. Flat calm and had two major hits that popped and peeled line before dissapearing as well. Felt like the hot times had returned and will be hittin the water again tommorrow and headin to thrasher to bottom bounce.
