I'm looking for one or more good quality prawn traps, the hoop kind that stack inside each other. I'd prefer victoria, please let me know if anybody has some they can sell.

Cheers MM,

I have connections through a local commercial manufacturer. How many are you looking for and are there anymore fishermen out there who might wish to pick up some traps at wholesale?

At what price? As I could always use a few more.

Cheers,

hey FG - yes price is a concern so I doubt I'm looking for new even if they are at a good discount. But can you ballpark what the price may be? I'm just looking for 1 or 2

Cheers MM,

I think I can get a few promotional ones for 35.00 and commercial ones that retail for 110.00 for 1/2 price (+/- $50/trap). The promotional ones are not the same quality as the commercial ones and I have had fabulous results with the commercial ones.

Hi Fishing Guide are you still able to get any of the commercial grade prawn traps. If so I would be interested.

Thanks

Cheers All,

I will contact my supplier (I do testing for them) and see what is available and at what price. These are commercial stainless traps and they fish fantastic. My best day using these traps had over 2600 in 8 traps.
