We have all looked at great fish photos and some of us have framed them to hang on our walls, if the wife allowes it. Just a point to remember, take the time to clean or spray the fish down before posing in front of the camera. I personally think that you ruin those great shots with blood running from the gills down the side of that trophy fish. Just recently I was on the West Coast and while still bobbing in the seas, made it a point, to have a Halibut sprayed off to expose that white underbody. The photo turned out great and could certainly be used in the future for advertising. Next time you are viewing, keep this tip in mind and see how many pictures would have been better served with taking that extra step and care. Digital Duke Photography

that is a great tip, I really hate to see some curled up spring with blood coming out of it in a picture, I don't think it does these awesome fish justice.

Another tip I might add is take the picture right after you catch the fish(after you drop the gear again of course) instead of 6 hours later on the dock, they look so much nicer fresh from the ocean.

Also look where the sun is and make sure it is BEHIND the camera man not the subject.

So do we get to see the halibut pic Tyee? Oh and I'm guessing you solved the login problem?

Is there a size restriction, have tried a multitude of times to download and keeps coming back invalid file, don't understand it's my photo's in one of my files, but for whatever reason something isn't allowing the process to happen.

Always use you fill flash when taking pics out on the water. Anytime for that matter.

usually its on depends on the lighting though. I find it makes a richer more detailed picture most times.

Go on the web and google Photo Gadget. It's a free download and will shrink your pics to fit, and it works great. It will sit on your machine til you need it and won't take up much space.
