"Fishing Guide" has been speaking with a prawn bait supplier and he has the opportunity to offer the forum a substantial discount on 20kg bags.

I wanted to gauge the interest before FG works it out any further.

*note: this is an offer designed to help out members, not to create profit for FVI.

Depending on the brand and pricing, I would likely be interested. At least a couple bags this direction methinks...

Cheers,
Nog

Recently restocked with a 25kg bag at SharKare in Nanaimo for about $60ish.
Works very well.
Works as good as all custom concoctions I've ever tried.

Tip: don't fill pellet container with pellets or the water won't be able to swish around it as well; best fill amount is 1/3 to 1/2.
Tip 2: you can reuse the pellets all day, replacing them doesn't increase harvest.
Been a serious recreational prawner for 8 years, and logged EVERYTHING for the first 6 years.
Note: if some clown (me) lets the wet bait drip on the carpet of the boat it will not leave a permanent stink or stain.

Smiley.

Cheers Smiley,

May I be so bold as to inquire the name of the prawn bait you purchased at SharKare?
