Does anyone know how pods change the way a boat will ride?

I know someone that poded their boat ( same as mine) when they took it out on the water it caused the bow to porpise
to solve that problem they put a cavatation plate on the motore then the boat preformed better I dont want to have to do that
I heard it was because who ever made the pod didnt make it with enough negative trim .. :?

anyone have some good info

I have seen a lot of people swap over................ all I have to do is throw a pod on. Fixed.....
More often than not I have seen it fail (backtard mechanics)

If you swap from a inboard that likes to ride light in the bow to a pod strap on pod that you think will work it probably wont. (and sure that other guys will pipe up and say well I did this)

Totally depending on the boat you are starting with I would say the best way to go is a full beam pod. It will cost more but not hamper the performance of the boat and if not help it

Big Chrome, give Greg at Bluenose Auto in Parksville a call. He podded a boat this year, took out the inboard and from what I understand has never looked back. 250 951 9957, just tell him Wayne gave you his work number and he'll fill you in about everything. Hope this helps

Real boats are inboard, stick a shaft in it and enjoy warm winter fishing with your red dot on  Is this mod for the "Abigail"?

Yes A-1
I am debating the pod  :?
I was suggested to pod if I am going to be doing anywork on the transom so I having been thinking about it
Yes its for the abigail she getting some upgrades I believe in preventative maintenence :) not wait till its broken then fix it :) trying to get all the little things fixed while its downtime
I guided out of a inboard this year I was ready to take the dog house out in favour for rowing to the fishing grounds
Hopefully soon I can join you guys on the water

hopefully you guys leave some fish for me
