With over 34,000,000 sockeye salmon give or take the 10,000,000 taken from commercials/FN/sporties how come the escapement numbers for so many systems on the fraser seem so low for the huge number of fish but I also don't see the adam's river on this list either.

Not many of these numbers seem to impressive by my standards for escapement for the run size thus far, unless i'm looking at the data wrong?

I realize that these are not final numbers by any means but so far they just seem abit off.

Maybe everyone filling up thier fridges with 5$ sockeye has something to do with it, but I doubt it, poaching was rampant again, but there should be millions of fish to fill those rivers still.
