Has anyone ever caught a steelhead while trolling for their specific target species or is there simply just not enough summer run steelies left to encounter out there?

Caught one about 9lbs many years ago at the south end of Quadra island while fishing for Cohos. Also caught an Atlantic at
Green Sea a few years ago......BB

one caught off ukee this year
awesome fish they are rare to catch in ocean but not impossible
wonder if your allowed to keep one if you do my guess is your not
