Sevenx
We where there for 4 days without any fish, the guides where doing good though
we fished around the rock pile all the way to Logan, the marina has anchovies BUT you are only able to buy 1 package and must be staying there as well. The only thing that I did get to the boat was what i call the west coast seal was a seagull that stole my bait and got hooked before i could get it off the top of the water, but all in all it was a great time, oh fog was bad too, let me know how you make out as there is a derby going on this week-end

Hi
Just back yesterday from Renfrew, fishing for sox was great, so good that on Sat I got on the radio to tell sporties that if they would like to get into some fast and fun sox fishing to come out to where i was, lots of boats came out to join us and as soon as they did a seine boat come powering in to where we where fishing and literally set his net right on top of us, i kinda fely bad telling the sporties about a hot spot and this happens, so watch what you say on the radio, any way back to fishing, straight off of campers in 450- 500 ft of water fishing 65-75 deep, we fished a red hootchie (we bought them at the marina) 18 - 20 " leader and a gold betsy flasher, i spent most of my time out there as i had my son and his buddy with me and just like to catch fish so can't say how they where doing on the beach.

Good luck

Fished Renfrew yesterday thanks to a friend who keeps his boat there during the season. Started off with good size sockeye on all 4 rods so it did not take long to get our 12 fish. Moved out to the bank and dropped some fresh sox belly down. Finished off the trip with our 3 halibut and were back at the dock befor noon. Had forgotten how much work is involved in hauling those things up from 300 feet down. Well worth the trip. Thanks for a great morning Paul.
