Any tips on how to get rust off squirt/hoochie? I tried spray nine which took off the rust but also lifted the UV film from the rubber. Looking for something that will get rid of the rust but not harm the UV film.

I've soaked skirts in soap and warm water but I've never had much luck getting all the rust out, usually its down to trotac for a new pack.

Thanks MM but it's the same old story where they changed the color or the dye pattern and the new ones don't work and you can't buy the old ones anymore. I still have a few of the old ones but I can't get the rust out.

May seem odd, but anytime my gear goes near salt water I hose it off when I get home and toss the lures in some water for 10mins and dry it off before I put it away. Too anal?

You might try Windex, It takes the rust off some of my other plastic things around the house like aquarium stuff you get off usedvic.
