Hey. I just went out last week, and my down rigger brake is seized on one, and the other brake is a little hesitant. Does anyone on here just service there own, or is worth it to take it to Island Outfitters or Scotty. They are pretty new about one year old, but with lots of use throughout the year. Wish someone near Duncan area serviced them, so I didn't have to drive them down.... Any ideas??

I have always taken my Scotty's into Scotty in Sidney and they fix everything for free and have even upgraded parts for free. Never had to pay or have had any hassles. Works great if you live in the Victoria area.
