I just build one for the Sculpin in the spring. We rushed it but it turned out o.k.

We built a little holder for the bait cooler next to it 8-) . The whole rail comes out when not needed (like when we're prawning and crabbing etc.)

If your up in Nanaimo I could hook you up with some aluminum (I own a welding shop) for a reasonable price. Metal Super Market will cost big time. PM me.

Perfect set up Sculpin.
I too have been scratching my head for a design and mounting method.
My boats too small (16' and glass) for something that large, but you've given me an idea.
