out this weekend at Sheringham, limit both days by 11.oo,Coho,s and afew springs over 10 lbs i don't keep any spring less than 10.decent size northerns they are still around just thinned out and you have to work abit to find these bad boys, try herring at 80'if your artificials are not producing, there is a seine opening which sucks.primitive, outmoded way of fishing in my opinion.i thought its about conservation, but that goes out the window when big bucks come into play, its amazing what a bit of palm grease will acomplish......

don't see any boats out during the week any more,i guess most people ,weekend warriors that is,figure that its all over however i am still doing as good as ever on coho,s and the occasional bigger feeder spring.crabbing is pretty good, getting a few nice Red rocks wich are superior to Dungeoness in my opinion.am going to drop shrimp traps soon as well Ss.........out

well that's it for me, pulled the boat yesterday. I trolled a bit around west race and released a good number of just legal springs but didn't bring anything home - awesome afternoon out there though.

I may pop out there in a month or so once they have plumped up a bit but for now my sooke season is pretty much done.

Now time to think about some crabbing, prawning, early steelhead and a little surfing thrown in for variety.
