I was just curious how late has anyone caught winter steelhead around victoria. From Nitnat to Renfrew. I have had a great year and was catching dime bright steelhead right up to the end of march. Summer is just around the cnr and I am debating if i should try make it out for a nice spring day of fishing sometime in apr. Although a nice day fishing and getting nothing is still better than work.

I just got one last weekend of course it was a wild fish, a late winter run. Pretty soon it will be the transition to summer run fish but there are still winter run fish around especially mending kelts
