Tighlines,

I fished the 28th managed to land one spring. My Friend nailed 4 springs nothing huge, and one mid teen coho which was clubbed. Released everything else.
Water was decent, fish had a couple pushes in the am then died by 10.

Soon it will be bubbling with chrome,

Well, September has come & gone, and a good month for salmon it was. The spring fishing in the Stamp was very consistent this fall with some very nice chromers being caught. The coho were a little more spotty, mainly due to the arrival of high water just as the run was starting to come in. Most of them just blasted up river, although we did manage to get a few on roe & plugs. Bait was by far the way to go for springers, with the added bonus of some nice summer runs cruising in as well.
The water is pretty high now, but starting to drop. If the heavy rains hold off, steelhead fishing could heat up soon. Here are a few pics from the last month.......

fly fished the stamp this weekend, at the gun club, galaxy, and money's pool we hooked into a couple coho, an older chinook and a chum. No summer steel which is what we were after.
