what do you guys run for steelhead leaders, length wise?

Depends on gear, conditions but normally about 12-18 inch.

Like Kelly said, it depends on the conditions. High water I usually go 18" , low water 18-36". What I'm using also decides how long the leader will be.

I generally use 18"-24". Will go longer and lighter if the water is clear. I don't like them too long as casting becomes a little more of a problem.

18" to 36" is the rule of thumb I generally use. When the water is low and clear I use less weight and longer leaders. When the water is murky i use shorter leaders. Remember if you can see the fish they can see you.
