never heard of until I looked it up: http://www.sufix.com/usa/

looks like hardcore stuff and about 15 or so different kinds - the stretch braid sound pretty interesting for salmon maybe. Which one are you looking at and how much does this stuff cost?

The one product of theirs that I tried I hated  , mind you I suspect it was old stock sold into Canada at a heavy discount this was years ago.

They have a number of different products and I know the Guys on the LR boats in California swear by the stuff.

I think Seapro Distribution in Sidney was bringing it in a few years ago but haven't seen it anywhere for a while (could be wrong about that could be some other US brand I'm thinking about).

I used it when I lived in New Zealand on my surfcasting reels (9kg) - good abrasion resistance and knot strength. I fished areas that really tested line due to the abrasive sand or rocky bottoms. It also held up well in the direct sunlight which is very important in warmer climates.

I used a 8lb test on a small spinning reel this year and it held up extremely well to 10lb plus beach coho, and no tangling problems when casting.

cool thanks guys
was just wondering if anyone has tried it I was looking at the Camo line by Suffix Tried it on a buddies rod the other day got hung up looks to be pretty good

But they have so many different kinds just wondering what works best for Salt water and fresh water :? :?

I would bet some work better for bait casters
others work better for One to one action reels

Hey Paul Hope to see you out this year Tell Dell to shine up the old steely reel

I've been using Sufix Siege Tangerine (hi vis orange) on one of my reels. I really like it and have had no performance issues.
