You are correct Dark Star, however you will see the vehicle towed on most occasions to prevent the person from driving again.

A lot of what happens roadside is left up to the discretion of the officer that stops the vehicle.

Once you leave the roadside however, there is no going back. The old laws apply then.

Halibut Pete can you give us just a brief summary of the report :lol:

In the news today there is talk of them reveiwing this new law because of the unintended consequences (mostly economic I'm thinking). The government probably gets more tax revenue from the restaurant and pub businesses then they could hope for from fining us poor saps who had a couple of drinks. Just another political screw up. Where do they get these people from anyways.
